INVOLVE ME SO I CAN UNDERSTAND SUMMARY ONLY:
In my study, base on my observation as well, that “communication” is one of the most essential ways of getting “involve” and in dealings, example sharing the gospel. Getting involves in some sense that means to relational aspects is not easy in some part of life. It needs deeper understanding and attention. The process of communicating different people needs innate comprehension when they are not familiar in common languages in the areas. Even though, kind consideration is good but this is not main reason to get “involves” easily to others. In common approaches we consider some general responses, example using formal or general communication skills. However, we need to consider that to get “involve” truly, it need to “create- understanding.” The healthy and good relation only takes place when there is concrete or “genuine” communication.
TECHNOLOGY?
In some views, it tells that “technology” can be proficiently used for communication because of its powerful ability. But in the process it is an individual who operates it, so that it may works. Same thing in the ministry it needs tools to initiate our plans. Yet, to get involve for”divinely service” it needs us to establish relationship to others. And it can only be possible when there is genuine communication, as what the sources emphasizing about. And the said relationship must start through sincerity. What motivates man to response is that what the mind thinking about. And the usefulness’ of the technology matters only on how they are use wisely. Example, what mention in my reference, the satellites, printing press, or any other related technology which connected to this course. They are all part of the modern tools. But the use of these tools, as it says, “may lead merely to transmission.” What it means, might simply just a show or just giving an idea about, it occurs without involvement. In my study, regarding this matter, it comes to my mind that communication involves the arts of dealings, arts of expressions, and the use of tools. It is good to be reminded that the actual communication of an individual is best enough to deals with people & develop relationship. And communication would become easy. Even though, the present technology carries an important role. But we need to be aware of content of the program if it suitable of today’s and helpful, in building relationship. So that our faith and belief is not persuade by reason. But trough personal encounter, of the gospels. Therefore, participation is one of “involvements” needs. In my study, I get struck to this statements and it awaken my mind about the reality. As it emphasize; “…., the greatest sin in the church today is that of boring a congregation. This boredom gives God a bad reputation.” - P27 Jesus for Jews Newsletter My opinion is that, when member of the congregation not given space to exercise their gifts. I believe that a healthy church when all are functioning together as a family. And the other reason why the congregation becomes bored when all things where all speculations and they got nothing to do, just to listen and sit down. The reason why I agreed ion this statement, it is because it can be observed in the reality. The problems start either in the pastor, workers, or the members. The reason why genuine communication is very important in the ministry it is because develops relationship. And it establishes harmony and good collaboration. So that no one takes advantage to anyone and bring praise for his own. It is one of the church duties not just to house the converts. But to give them space in the church where they can be develop and exercise their gifts. In this way, I think the congregation would not be bored when they are collaborating and get involved of some of the church tasks. Another thing, I have learned is that, Knowing the Audience. In this way, it is easy to transmit the message that the receiver could understand. It is common in the ministry to set a program. But there where time that some part is not suitable. If this things would happen then another response would take place. In order that the main objective of the program would be accomplished. By Knowing the Audience it would tell an individual what the things to response. And this would result in good relations which needed for further services. Let me add something, and I hope this might become helpful as a supplement to this summary in related to the subject. Proper digestion makes man to be healthy and nourish. Then, it is like dealing to other people in the sense of genuine communication. And is boding is the results of sincere dealing to others. And an important ways to get “involve” in the new setting. Learn the Language Communicating it is not just about the tools. If the people could not understand then the message means nothing for them. Communication for me is an art, and one this is that Learning the Art of Languages on how people use it and make their response. And it is very important to know little things about other language, especially when it means to an individual present course. And also in order to build up friendship and communicate people in the ways they can easily know. Learning the language is not just for course benefits but it adds knowledge about the culture of the people. It enables also both individuals to communicate within the present atmosphere, and that they may learn to act in proportion. While participation it helps an individual to learn common matters in community. Sharing closely people develop inner relationship. Therefore, as a whole, my summaries focus on one of the top keys of ministry- RELATION. It is not easy to get “involve” if there is no “genuine communication” and it could only be possible when there is profound relations to the given subject and the present course. In short it is about our sincere, genuine, and true commitment. There would be no established- involvements would happen if an individual have personal interest. It is because relationship is the word use to identify the connection of two objects or things which they have in common. And through genuine communication it develops sincere relation and would result true involvements. Involvement in the other sense needs deeper relationship to the people and also to the given task. And it is god to in mind that our cultural differences needs the arts of dealing in order to get involve. And lastly “parting” in common necessities is not enough. In order to get “involved” we must learn and feel people feelings. Understanding them is the key of building good relations which is not base on rewards. Lastly, the main reason in order to be “involved” is not to make profit for it or build up bases as in page 28-29. But the reference tells that it would create understanding. And if we will agree that “communication is relationship,” then it means it is a process of dealings.
